All of the action was down at the Grenfell Showgrounds on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31 with the return of the annual Grenfell Show.
This year's show was described as excellent by Show secretary Bronwyn Liebich, with an amazing array of entries across competitions, both within and outside the pavilion.
This year saw the return of the speed shear challenge - the first time it has come to the show in many years, Mrs Liebich said, with around 30 entries.
Other competitions which proved to be highlights were the tractor pull competition and the yard dog trials.
In the competitions hosted in the pavilion, Mrs Liebich said numbers were good across the board in all of the sections.

"Pavilions were really well supported again, the quilting section was up, the horticultural was really good," she said.
Other sections which saw a large amount of entries included the cooking and junior floral sections, along with the Lego section.
This year, Tara Anderson was named the 2024 Grenfell Show Young Woman, while the 2024 Grenfell Show Rural Ambassador was awarded to Finlay Maclean.
During the show's opening ceremony on Saturday afternoon, the efforts of several committee members were also recognised including Grace Eppelstun who was awarded the Most Valuable Contribution to the Grenfell Show 2024, and Mark and Bronwyn Liebich were awarded Life Membership of the Grenfell PAH&I.
Mrs Liebich said they've been involved in the Show Society for several years and this recognition was greatly appreciated.
While they appreciate the recognition, Mrs Liebich said there are a lot of people who turn up every year and help out, going under the radar.
"We appreciate them turning up every year as we wouldn't have a show without them," she said.
Mrs Liebich said they would also like to thank everyone who has supported and sponsored the show this year as it makes it possible to provide more entertainment for families to enjoy without having to put a hand into their pockets.
Mrs Liebich said they also appreciate and want to thank the exhibitors for all of the time and effort they go to in entering the competitions.
