St Joseph’s celebrate Harmony Day

The flavours of different countries, including Italy, India, and Australia, were enjoyed as part of St Joseph’s Primary School’s Harmony Week events.

Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

The students enjoyed focusing on the importance of Harmony Week with their classes, celebrating Australia’s amazing cultural diversity!

FEAST OF ST JOSEPH

Students, staff, families and parishioners gathered at St Joseph’s Church for a prayer celebration to honour the feast of their patron saint, Saint Joseph. In the afternoon, the students gathered to complete a variety of activities to conclude the day. Lots of fun was had!

VISIT TO GRENFELL MPS

Students in Years Two, Three and Four enjoyed a spot of gardening with the residents of the Grenfell Multi-Purpose Health Service recently on a warm, sunny day. It was a lovely way to spend time outside in the company of the residents on such a glorious day.
